Compora had renounced the Argentinian Presidency in his favour, the CGT union federation was sending out the order: No strikes, no demonstrations- you can show your support at the polling booth."

Peron is taking over the Presidency, as we predicted some weeks ago, in a bid to keep control over the Peronist movement. The military dictators accepted his return rather working class movement; they will keep him just as long as he has the power to suppress the independent struggles of the working class. It consists of a few gestures against the US monopolies, shooting in which 20 people died. planned for Saturday. moved first International Marxist Group (British Section of the Fourth International)
